Milton is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in the Toronto area of Canada. It has seen a growth in population and real estate which was not there until recent years and that is why this is a town that is getting a lot of attention from all over the world right now.

Until 2006, this city was considered to have very few minorities and most of the people are English speaking and some of them speak French as well. However, the rapid expansion has attracted some new waves of arrivals.

Education is a very important part of the life in Milton and although there is a percentage of about 15 percent of people that are not highly educated, the amount of schools you can find in this small town is commendable and the kind of education is of high standards as well. Milton also has two very well equipped libraries that are dedicated to the minds of those that are always in the quest for more knowledge and understanding.

As far as recreation, sports and activities are concerned, Milton has sports arenas and conservation areas where you can indulge yourself in all sorts of sports activities all year around. Camping facilities and water sports also play a very important part of the Milton culture.
